"With the blast of brass and drums, the ships band breaks into a march..."(Miller 9). i wonder if the ships band is anything like a marching band. Like our schools or is it just a few people? Would they only have one or two people playing the same instrument? Would they have just some instruments? Then would the type of instruments depend on the time period? Because i don't know when certain instruments were made. Also would the snares control the speed they walk at? i think that they would only allow men to by in this because of the time period or do they let anyone who can play the intrument very well.
