Theme and summary

So far in my book I'm still in the beginning/middle of my book so it's too early to tell what the theme is. Right now the book is in the rising action. In The Lost Crown the part that I am at the princesses and their  family are still trying to make it through everything that's going on with the war. Some of these events are their mother is from the country that's fighting with so the soldiers are saying bad stuff about her behind her back as much as people do today. Also the princesses have to deal with the injured soldiers since they are working with the Red Cross. Also they are having hard times going out into public with everything going on, not only do the princesses feel uncomfortable but the guards that have to go with them are uncomfortable also.
