The names in my book

Teardrop has some very strange names that I've never heard of before. The main characters name is Eureka. Her step mothers name is Rhoda. Her best friends name is Brooks. Her mothers name is Diana. The random guy that know everything about Eureka name is Ander. Ander's aunt's name is Chora. For me, these aren't normal names that I hear everyday. This book does take place in the south U.S., so I dont know if these names are more common down there.
